- Divide players into two teams.
- Every member of each team must write a Game Card for the other team to act out.
- Game Cards must include three things:
- 1. The Player's Name who wrote it (i.e. "John Smith")
- 2. A Title (i.e. "Star Wars" or "Friends")
- 3. The Category (i.e. Movie/TV Show/Song/Book/Play&Musical)
- Select a team to go first. Pick a player from the starting team to draw a Game Card and go first.
- When ready, press Start to begin the 1-minute turn.
- The player must act silently to communicate the title to their team:
- - No speaking, mouthing words, or sound effects.
- - No letters, numbers, writing/drawing, or spelling in the air.
- - No phones, props, or sign language; mime only.
- Teammates call out guesses. The player may nod, give “yes/no” gestures, or use classic cues such as:
- 1. Category Gesture
- 2. Number of Words
- 3. Which word they are acting
- Scoring: If the team guesses correctly within 1 minute they earn 1 point.
- After their turn, the player reveals which opposing team player wrote the card; that person goes next.
- After every player for each team has had a turn, the team with the most points wins.
(Hint: On phones/tablets, turn your ringer on and volume up to hear the timer.)
